Honoring A Family Legacy
One of our unique neighborhood communities, The Fisher, is named for a family member of the long-time owners of the community. Helen Greenspun survived two labor camps and five concentration camps, and currently resides in Central Florida. Her brother, Fisher, did not survive the Holocaust. The family story is quite amazing, and if you are interested in learning, you can read their account in Sara’s Children: And the Destruction of Chmielnik.
As only the third owner since the original development, we are committed to preserving the history while continuing to add modern amenities and conveniences. Apartments are newly renovated with smart features and in home laundry. You can enjoy relaxing on the spacious pool deck or cooking your favorite meal in the expansive outdoor kitchen. And you can close out your day with a friendly game of bocce and a nice glass of Italian wine at the bocce court.

The Fisher is located at the intersection of Winter Park and Baldwin Park, and offers convenient access to everything those communities have to offer. It’s a short drive to the shops and eateries of famous Park Avenue in downtown Winter Park as well as its numerous museums and Central Park. Baldwin Park Village Center is an easy bike ride or walk away, with its mix of stores, restaurants and grocery.
Located directly across the street from The Fisher is the 2.5 mile Baldwin Park loop. This is a popular trail for birding, road biking, and trail running, but also offers quiet spots to rest if you prefer solitude. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit at any time. If you prefer a longer trail, you can also hop on the Cady Way Trail and travel along its 13.2 miles south to downtown Orlando or north to Seminole County.
